northland
Greetings, this is my first DTF post. I've been screen printing for a decade, using the conventional methods (screens and plastisol inks). I've got a brand new (spare) Epson 1400 printer and use the FilmMaker RIP for making film positives. With new ink tanks and printer modification, could this printer/rip combo work for DTF ? I believe the 1400 is just an earlier version of the Epson 1430 ? I know there are bulk ink tank assemblies available for the Epson 1400 and would be willing to permanently modify the printer for STF use. Any suggestions about the feasibility of doing so ? I also have a couple nice heat presses.
