mwfigueroa Posted September 3, 2019 Share Posted September 3, 2019 Hi, This is some pictures of my lamp Im build with a mosfet for switching, the configuration is simple, 10k to the gate and 100k to the source in the drain there are +VCC 12V 3A for 4 units UV LED of 10W connecting in parallel and the fan getting the air from down to up of the sink. reptilesink Posted September 3, 2019 Share Posted September 3, 2019 For those led I would advise using a fixed current power supply so they are not over driven. Also they burn out very quickly if over heated. I would have a much more substantial heat sink in direct contact with them as well as the fan. What about this plastic part is is custom made stl ? Also is it covering full plate as I seen most of UV solutions is installed just on one side of printer head and not cure full bed . reptilesink Posted September 3, 2019 Share Posted September 3, 2019 Pulse width modulation purely acts as a dimmer control depending on the speed of the modulation. Mount it on the side of the printhead and see if it hits when the head goes all the way over.
