  1. Hi, I just looked into this. L1800 have no roll mode in its drivers. Is There any rip software that allows L1800 to print roll film?
  2. I learned that if your printer printed more than 7000 pages, it is having a hard time to feed dtf film. So better buy least used. R2000 is a good printer with dx5 head. I don't know 2880 model.
  3. This is diffirent than DTG, both have uses. If your customer does not care about printout quality, health issues etc. DTF is way to go, because it is cheaper to startup. If you customer wants high end quality products DTG is way to go. In the end all other factors are irrevelent.
  4. Daily maintaince prevents immedietly clogging, but still it will build up in head in long run. As this aspect, l1800 will be less usable with same maintaince. So it is really a question of how many prints you need per day and what is your budget. If you need over 50 prints per day, it is better to go for 8 channel printheads. L1800 is 3 times slower. If you just want to try this method and don't know where it leads(as hobby) you can start with even a L805. If A3 size is necessary then L1800.
  5. If all settings are same, then it May be a nozzle problem.
  6. Maybe they can work with 3880 or p800 settings on acrorip
  7. At what degree i should cure? 165 celcius like Dupont dtg?
  8. If it is 4880 it is dx5. However i think they use 3880 which should be same or similar to p600.
  9. I just asked for steps after you print image on paper and use adhesive powder on it. To check it if i did something wrong.
  10. Dunno yet, i am working on it maybe There are better papers than i used. It did not hold near enough for only CMYK too. Btw what are your paper baking settings and heat transfer settings? Also can we bake paper on heat transfer if yes at what pressure and what degree?
  11. Yeah exactly like this. But it does not hold more than %40 ink with acrorip mix color DOT size settings. So it did not give anywhere near good result for me. But i seen good prints on it with sublime CMYK and plastisol white on it.
  12. Have anyone tried this? If yes would we still need to remove rollers?
  13. I think it have dx5 printhead, with ciss it would be usable. You will need catridge reset often thou, which stops you for a few minutes. But printhead speed is one of the best on par with p600.
  14. Just open catridge cover then close it when it throws the error. You get this error when you first opened the printer and send the first job.
  15. You should get a good result. Maybe your ink might have gone bad too.
  16. DTF is there for a long time. It is just modified printing technique. I learned some people in my country already using it a bit diffirent. They use transfer paper and print CMYK on to paper. Then put paper in serigrafi silk mold and get plastisol white on to paper on CMYK. Then put the powder, rest is same. So, DTF is basicly uses plastisol white ink that usable in printers and eleminates some steps above. It is basicly a heat transfer method.
  17. Dampers, catridges might gone bad or your head is not sitting properly on cap if everything else is fine.
  18. These colors aren't good at all you are right. I haven't tried DTF just yet, but i tried kothari and acrorip both on DTG. On kothari results were similar to yours, on Acrorip it was so good i questioned why did i buy kothari. However i seen good prints with kothari and i think hue saturation adjustment is being made before printing on kothari. Just not able to try it yet. I contacted kothari to make correct color adjustments, i suggest you to do same. I don't have any time to work about it so kothari is on hold for me for now. Acrorip is much easier to use and get good results as a novice. Kothari is just too complicated and not very well documented.
  19. 2 possibilities if it is not dtg converted and if it is new. 1- Program is corrupt. Either setup files or installations gone bad. 2- You don't use 1 pass, so paper slides every other print.
