Indeed I will share if I ever get chance to work on them.

Yes I have seen the ones using fans which is what mine will be based on.

I will utilise the space inside the tray for the electronics for the ink circulation/flushing system.

I also have a code to control the paper feed so you can use a roll of film for the L1800 and again all the electronics will go in the tray and all control buttons for everything and a display for the timer adjustment can be neatly mounted on the tray so its just a matter of a single multi pin socket on the printer to plug everything into.

Its more curiosity for me at this stage so can just take my time to work things out.

Can i buy information about this roll adjustment?

Thanks you all guys for the replys ,that´s help me so much.

the priter is for a new seccion t-shirt on my online shop and i dont know how much prints i  need daily , but minimun i will print one time each day for avoid the clogs and i will do the  advices. "i bought the L1800 cause i cant finally found the p400/p600"

i really would buy 5 days  ago a DTG epson f2100 for 6000€ , but recently youtube showed me  this new "revolucionary tecnology" cheapest , a similar quality ,less process.

Do you think this option can replace the DTG prints or really worth buy the F2100?

This is diffirent than DTG, both have uses. If your customer does not care about printout quality, health issues etc. DTF is way to go, because it is cheaper to startup.

If you customer wants high end quality products DTG is way to go. In the end all other factors are irrevelent.

  3. Daily maintaince prevents immedietly clogging, but still it will build up in head in long run. As this aspect, l1800 will be less usable with same maintaince. So it is really a question of how many prints you need per day and what is your budget.

If you need over 50 prints per day, it is better to go for 8 channel printheads. L1800 is 3 times slower.

If you just want to try this method and don't know where it leads(as hobby) you can start with even a L805. If A3 size is necessary then L1800.

Can a Epson R1800 be used for DTF, It is on the Acrorip list. Looks like 8 colors, so CMYK+WWWW ?

Anyone using this with a CISS ?

How would the speed be ?

    Thank You

I think it have dx5 printhead, with ciss it would be usable. You will need catridge reset often thou, which stops you for a few minutes. But printhead speed is one of the best on par with p600.

    Hello,

I just bought a converted P600 from DTFSuperstore. First time messing with this. I installed all of the ink cartridges with ink and ran a setup of EK Studio. Tried to do a test print with EK Studio and nothing happened. It appeared to push the job to the printer but it never attempted to print. I then tried to do a test print using the Epson touchscreen and it produced an error "Cannot recognize the following ink cartridges. Try installing them again." And it shows a red X for each cartridge.

I'm sure this is an easy fix. I'm just new and a little lost. Would appreciate some help. Also, do I need to install the Epson drivers?

Just open catridge cover then close it when it throws the error. You get this error when you first opened the printer and send the first job.

  6. DTF is there for a long time. It is just modified printing technique. I learned some people in my country already using it a bit diffirent.

They use transfer paper and print CMYK on to paper. Then put paper in serigrafi silk mold and get plastisol white on to paper on CMYK. Then put the powder, rest is same.

So, DTF is basicly uses plastisol white ink that usable in printers and eleminates some steps above.

It is basicly a heat transfer method.

You can see on the image on the screen how bright everything is and how white the lettering is but when we do the print on the black shirt the white looks gray and the colors are just dull. I am new with Kothari  so can you explain where you make the changes on how much ink is put down. Currently, Choke is set at 98, Underbase at 60, and highlight at 20. Output color strength is at 80. Thank you for your help.

These colors aren't good at all you are right. I haven't tried DTF just yet, but i tried kothari and acrorip both on DTG. On kothari results were similar to yours, on Acrorip it was so good i questioned why did i buy kothari. However i seen good prints with kothari and i think hue saturation adjustment is being made before printing on kothari.

Just not able to try it yet. I contacted kothari to make correct color adjustments, i suggest you to do same. I don't have any time to work about it so kothari is on hold for me for now.

Acrorip is much easier to use and get good results as a novice. Kothari is just too complicated and not very well documented.

using an p600 with acrorip 9 ....can anyone tell me why my white underbase is printing off to one side???? we have the choke settings set ....did a print head alignment and it still prints the underbase off to one side?????

2 possibilities if it is not dtg converted and if it is new.

1- Program is corrupt. Either setup files or installations gone bad.

2- You don't use 1 pass, so paper slides every other print.
